The author reviews the book, “New Media & Suicidality: Perils & Possibilities of Intervention.” He provides a background to the book, considering the effect of new media (such as internet) on suicide rates, & outlines the aspects of suicide & new media that are covered in this book. He is impressed by the “fresh wind” of the topics presented, though is disappointed that no English translation of the book (originally in German) is yet available. (4 refs)
