Nickel M K~~Tritt K~~et al
In 250 cases of childhood sexual abuse, the authors sought to assess the perpetrators, forms of simultaneous abuse, & characteristics of the families of origin, & the possible effects of abuse on health in adult life. Among their findings, they found that significantly more sexually abuse patients reported having suicidal ideation & suicide attempts than non-sexually abused patients. (57 refs)
