Abstract
Suicide and Hastened Death: Toward a Training Agenda for Counseling Psychology
Neimeyer R A
The author reacts to the findings of J Westefeld et al (2000), & of J Werth & D Holdwick (2000) by augmenting the implications of their findings for training in counselling psychology. He draws particularly on his own experience as an educator of professionals, graduate students, & paraprofessionals in suicide intervention, & on his own collaborative research on the development & assessment of competencies in this area of practice.
