Violence as a Public Health Problem: a new Role for CDC and a new Alliance With Educators
Rosenberg M L~~Mercy J A~~Smith J C
The authors discuss violence outcomes that can be measured in terms of morbidity (illness and disability) & mortality (death), including those associated with suicide. This includes psychological & physical costs of violence to victims, perpetrators, & innocent bystanders, for example, children in families in which domestic violence exists between the parents.
