This article comments of the book “Aboriginal Suicide is Different,’ by Colin Tatz. The current author argues that while the book offers a poignant & powerful reminder of Aboriginal suffering, it rejects many hard won findings in the scientific study of suicidal behavior, & therefore does not advance our understanding of suicide, be it Aboriginal or non-Aboriginal.
