Delineating the Population Served by a Mobile Crisis Team: Organizing Diversity

This study identifies specific cohorts of individuals served by a single mobile crisis team so that appropriate program evaluation can be designed & conducted for each unique group. All individual cases for the mobile crisis team were found to be classifiable in one of the following categories: Symptoms Disturbing Others subdivided into Symptoms Disturbing Others – General & Symptoms Disturbing Others – Suicide; Symptoms Disturbing Self; Information Seeking; For Your Information; & Other. Benefits & limitations of this division are discussed.
