This report presents the results of a 6-question survey that examined public awareness about suicide in Kentucky. 625 completed surveys were returned for data analysis. Among other things, it was found that over three-quarters of respondents agreed that suicide is preventable. Results from the survey will be used to establish a baseline measure, as part of a larger strategy aimed at reducing the rate of suicide in Kentucky.
