The Northern Health Strategy: Northern Solutions for Northern Issues – Strategies for Improving the Health of Northern Ontario Residents

The Northern Health Issues Strategy was developed to examine the work done to date concerning health status in Northern Ontario & to define priorities for action across all health sectors. The strategic recommendations in the current report are based on discussions held during the Northern Health Issues Strategy Symposium. Strategic priorities fall into seven areas: Health Promotion & Education; Access to Care/Services; Resources; Healthy Public Policy; Collaboraion; Research & Evaluation; & Northern Advocacy.
