Preventing Suicide – What Makes a Difference?

This fact sheet outlines the challenges & difficulties associated with youth suicide prevention research. Using evidence from 4 recent extensive reviews of the research literature, tables are presented which compile 3 categories of prevention activities: activities with good evidence of effectiveness, activities with some evidence of effectiveness, & activities that raise concerns.
