Abstract
Psychological Autopsy Studies of Suicide: a Systematic Review
Cavanagh J T O~~Carson A J~~et al
This systematic review examined the results of 76 studies that used a psychological autopsy method. Results indicated that mental disorder was the most strongly associated variable of those that have been studied. The effects of particular disorders & sociological variables were found to have been insufficiently studied to draw clear conclusions. Directions for future research are suggested. (17 refs)
