This aritcle discusses the recent & on-going research initiatives of the Arthur Sommer Rotenberg Chair in Suicide Studies, such as studying access to quality care for individuals suffering from depression; critical factors in accessing care for high risk suicidal young men; & an affective liability study that seeks to clarify the role played by emotional instability in promoting suicidal thoughts in patients with Borderline Personality Disorder.
