Eynan R~~Langley J~~et al
This study had three goals: 1) to determine the prevalence of suicidal ideation & suicide attempts among the homeless; 2) to determine what aspects of homelessness predict suicidality; & 3) to determine which aspects remain predictive after controlling for key covariates, such as mental illness. 61% of a study sample reported suicidal ideation & 34% had attempted suicide. Gender differences & contributing factors are discussed. (34 refs)
