This document highlights the relationship between media & suicide. The problem of suicide contagion is discussed, & recommendations for reporting on suicide are presented. These recommendations include information about what kinds of quesions journalists should ask, how to interview survivors, what kinds of language to use, & how to deal with special situations, such as celebrity deaths.
