Long-Term Physical and Psychological Health Consequences of Induced Abortion: Review of the Evidence

In this article, the authors investigated the long-term health consequences of induced abortion. They found that induced abortion increased the risks for mood disorders & depression substantial enough to provoke attempts at self-harm. The implications of these findings are discussed. (101 refs)
