The objectives of the article were to arrive at a better estimation of informant-specific correlates of suicidal behaviour in young adolescents, & to see how agreements & discrepancies between child & parent informants can contribute to the development of research & interventions. 2 informant-specific models of correlates of suicidal behaviour were found, which are presented here. Implications for future research are also discussed. (40 refs)
