The reviewer examines “The Case Against Assisted Suicide: for the Right to End-of-Life Care” according to his own perspective on assisted suicide. Despite finding the book well-written & passionately argued, he argues that the book fails to achieve the goals outlined by its editors. He finds that it could have provided a more comprehensive perspective about the issues related to hastening death. As well, he finds that the case against assisted suicide presented by the editors does not hold up to scrutiny. (42 refs)
