The author of this article argues in favor of assisted suicide being legalized & made available to hospice patients who might want it. Based on quality of life arguments, she argues in favor of patient choice regarding issues of life and death. She concludes by arguing that the option of assisted suicide should at least be discussed by hospice teams.
