Abstract
The Canadian Psychiatric Association Practice Profile Survey: I. Methods and General Sample Characteristics
Lin E~~Woodside B~~Rhodes A
This article describes the Canadian Psychiatric Association’s practice profile survey, a national survey of psychiatrists & psychiatric practice. Of the 1570 respondents, 45% were from Ontario & 67% were male. Given the small number of respondents that spend time seeing the very young & the very old, the author notes that these vulnerable groups will continue to experience relative underservicing.
