Educating for Life: a Guide for School-Based Responses to Preventing Self-Harm and Suicide

This guide is intended for school personnel. It suggests several ways to incorporate suicide prevention into the school curriculum. The guide provides information on Australian youth suicide, youth suicide prevention, & provides a discussion on the school’s role in suicide prevention. Issues of suicide contagion, identification of students at risk, & external support agencies are discussed. (SC)
