This article describes the Hamilton County Juvenile Court Youth Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, a correctional center for youths that has been certified as a crisis center by the American Association of Suicidology. A description of the center’s suicide prevention policies & procedures is included. Included are implications of the success of the Hamilton County Juvenile Court Youth Center for other correctional facilities that contain suicidal inmates. (3 refs) (SC)
