Checklist of Characteristics of Youth who Have Caused School-Associated Violent Deaths

This checklist of characteristics was compiled by studying characteristics of youngsters who have caused school-associated violent deaths in the United States from 1992 to the present. The author asserts that this checklist could indicate a youth’s potential for harming him/herself or others. Among these characteristics are cruelty to animals, depression, & suicidal communications or behaviors. (SC)
