This manuscript is an Act from the Louisiana state legislature which acknowledges youth suicide as an important social issue & presents the implementation of a statewide youth suicide prevention plan in public elementary & secondary schools. Guidelines are included stipulating how the State Board of Elementary & Secondary Education are to organize, implement & present this suicide prevention plan. (SC)
