This letter is a response to Wilkinson’s (1999) case study that presented evidence contrary to Healy’s (1999) review. Healy asserted that emotional blunting is a side effect of fluoxetine, a drug that is prescribed for the treatment of depression & suicidal ideation. In this letter, the author states that the fact that the review was published by the peer-edited journal is proof of the valid evidence of a causal connection between emotional blunting & fluoxetine.
