The Spiritual Treatment of a Suicidal Bulimic Anorectic (IN: Spiritual art Therapy: an Alternate Path, by E G Horovitz)

This chapter describes the treatment program of a 40-year-old bulimic anorexic woman. The therapist emphasized art therapy, spiritual reflection, & family sessions in this program. The patientÕs suicidal ideations are presented & several excerpts from sessions are included to illustrate the therapeutic power art had on disseminating these suicidal thoughts.
