This study investigated whether brain weight was different in people of a younger age who die by suicide than in those who die accidentally. The brain weight of 100 people who died by suicide was compared to the brain weight of 100 people who died by accident in the city of Manchester from 1998-2000. Results indicate that there were no significant difference in brain weight in this sample. (11 refs) (SC)
