This article examined sociodemographic, laboratory, & clinical features of 24 cases of organic phosphorous intoxication in the Southeast Anatolian region of Turkey. 19 of these cases were suicide attempts. 66% of the sample had only a primary school education, 58% were labelled low economic status, & 50% resided in the city of Diyarbakir.
