This article examines a clinical tool, the Grief Map, that is designed to assist those who are grieving death & non-death losses. The Grief Map provides a framework for dealing with the grieving process, & provides steps for rebuilding life following major loss. The article examines the methods that were used to develop the grief map with the use of case studies. The article also discusses the precepts of the Grief Map. The article concludes with the limitations of the map & issues for further research. (33 refs) (AK)
