This article addresses the issue of spousal loss. The author disagrees that there is something positive from the suicide of a loved one, that there is something to be learned from the suicide. The author also addresses the pain & grief of recovering from a person’s suicide. The author discusses her experience with the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. The author discusses how the loss of her husband prepared her to help the survivors of the terrorist attacks of September 11. (AK)
