This article provides the case study of Dr. Boudewijn Chabot. On September 28, 1991, Dr. Boudewijn Chabot provided a fatal dose of medication to his patient Mrs. B. The case of Dr. Boudewijn Chabot was the first case in The Netherlands to appear before the Supreme Court involving the assisted suicide of a mental suffering patient who was in healthy condition.
