Dyck R J~~Mishara B L~~White J
To determine future directions in addresssing suicide in Canada, the National Forum on Health, established by the Government of Canada, commissioned this paper to examine suicidal behaviour among three populations: those of children, adolescents, & the elderly. The literature is reviewed with a view to identifying key conclusions from a population health framework, & examples of successful & not-so-successful interventions are described. Finally, recommendations for policy directions are provided. (183 refs)
