This report summarizes a follow-up of the long-term behaviour of discharged patients with traumatically induced spinal cord injuries. Emphasis is put on the diversity of the experiences of the group. Suicide was considered to be a cause of death, among others, that was closely associated with the disability, & that was probably avoidable. (1 ref)
