In an attempt to contribute to better mutual understanding between those involved in the debate concerning the practice of euthanasia & physician-assisted suicide in The Netherlands, the author presents twelve cautionary statements for those on both sides of the debate. These caveats serve as an attempt by the author to dispell the generalizations about the situation in The Netherlands that are often made by those on both sides of the debate.
