This book resulted from interviews with a number of terminally ill patients. The opening chapters discuss the fear of death & attitudes toward death & dying. The third through seventh chapters outline Kubler-Ross’s stages of grief: denial & isolation, anger, bargaining, depression, & acceptance. Other chapters include: hope; the patient’s family; interviews with terminally ill patients; reactions to the seminar on death & dying; & therapy with the terminally ill.
