An analysis of suicide in Poland is done from a sociological point of view, following Durkheim’s theories of suicide. It is found that in Poland there are more suicides in urban than rural areas. Suicide occurs more frequently among people who have previously made a suicide attempt. Males complete suicide five times more than females. Young people attempt suicide more often than adults.
