In a study of suicides & those dying natural deaths, tattoos were found to be equally common in the white males of both groups. Presence of a tattoo in the white male suicides was, however, associated with an increased liklihood of using a gun for suicide. In addition, an association was found between choice of method for suicide & eye colour. (2 refs)
