This analysis will proceed in 3 segments: 1) a brief assessment of public opinion toward physician-assisted suicide; 2) an analysis of the dominant set of concepts fuelling public opinion trends, largely found in a ‘streamlined’ version of Mill; 3) a conclusion that Christianity is part of a longstanding consensus against physician-assisted suicide, & has a definite, positive role to play in shaping laws in this & other areas.
