The size of the Spring peak in suicides in 16 nations was associated with the methods used for suicide in those nations. The Spring peak in nations was greater the higher the percentage of suicides using hanging or strangulation & jumping & the lower the percentage using poisoning by solids or liquids & gas other than domestic.
