In this chapter, the comorbidity of violence & the potential for violent behaviour, suicidal behaviour, & depressive behaviour are explored within the context of psychological autopsy. Practical issues regarding diagnostic assessment of ptoentially violent youth are discussed. These issues include first-aid, duty to warn & protect, comprehensive evaluation from a developmental perspective, & management & treatment, with emphasis on individual & family psychotherapy & pharmacotherapy.
