This article presents a comprehensive & critical review of the literature on the psychosocial factors of suicide in adolescents. Also presented is a summary of the findings of a study conducted by Husain & Vandiver (1984), who have analyzed 167 cases of suicidal behaviour presented in the literature. (30 refs.)
