Part I of this book explores the scope of the problem & the myriad reasons why young people commit suicide. It also looks at how they choose to die, & gender & ethnic differences in suicide rates. Part II profiles three adolescents who completed suicide, 2 males & 1 female. The third & last part of the book examines what is & is not being done in American schools & communities to address the problem of adolescent suicide. A wide variety of responses is apparent.
