In this paper the author discusses various traumatic issues that were paramount to HIV-positive persons she had met & talked with at length. She discusses the individuals’ ordeals & the unconventional perspectives they adapted to overcome obstacles & maintain wellbeing. Some of the issues discussed are suicide, HIV-status disclosure, death, & medical technology. (69 refs.)
