Active Intervention and Comprehensive Services Following Suicide Attempts: a Community-Based Program (IN: Suicide Attempts in the Nordic Countries…, edited by T Bjerke & T C Stiles)

This paper presents a model for intervention following a suicide attempt in which the community health service plays an active role by conducting home visits immediately following hospital discharge & providing support & assistance in seeking further counselling or therapy. The program took place in Baerum, a suburban community west of Oslo.
