This paper reviews the epidemiology of Indian/Native adolescent suicide, reports Indian/Native-specific case & research studies, & summarizes major issues from the conference. A number of recommendations are presented under the headings of: data development; risk factors for youth suicide; evaluation of interventions to prevent youth suicide; suicide prevention services; public information & education; & broader approaches.
