This report describes the development & validation of suicide ideation & suicide attempt screening measures for high-risk Indian/Native adolescents attending Bureau of Indian Affairs boarding schools. The confirmation of their screening efficacy by means of structured diagnostic interviews is discussed. The project design & implementation steps are described. Results of the screening effort are summarized. (19 refs.)
