Some recent literature reviews have concluded there is no significant difference between suicide bereavement & bereavement due to other causes. Jordan disagrees with this conclusion & he discusses what he believes are some of the differences, including making meaning of a suicide death, shame, & stigmatization. The role of survivor support groups was also discussed in this interview.
