This article is an autobiographical account of a professor whose wife died by suicide. He articulates his feelings & emotions during his grief. There is also a description of the social support available to him. The author found the consolation of others & personal grieving necessary to cope with his wifeÕs death. The attitudes of Christianity to suicide are also discussed. (SC)
