This stocktake of early intervention programs is a project of the National Early Intervention Network in Australia. Its aims are: to gain an appreciation of early intervention programs for mental disorders in children & young people; to inform research; to identify good practice; to assist those wanting to develop early intervention programs; to identify barriers & constraints; & to provide information about evaluation & the use of an evidence-based approach. Areas covered include infant mental health & early childhood programs, childhood programs, & adolescence & young adulthood programs.
