This training manual has 4 sections. The first contains information on the development of the manual & how to use it in the context of community development. The second section defines suicide & discusses the common characteristics of suicide, stigma, Australian statistics, & suicide prevention. Section 3 goes over myths & facts about suicide, risk factors, mental illness, warning signs, what individuals can do to help, & frequently asked questions. Section 4 has resource materials for the trainer & participants.
