In this letter to the editor, the authors state their opposition to physician-assisted suicide. They argue that although euthanasia proponents do not consider extending this practice to anyone but the terminally ill, history teaches that this narrow application will eventually be expanded. Those particularly at risk will be the elderly, the poor, & the disabled.
