Suicide is the second leading cause of death among members of the Royal Australia Air Force. This paper describes an effort by the Air Force to reduce the rate of suicide among its younger personnel. The program uses experiential training in a bush setting to foster self-esteem, personal development, & a spirit of teamwork. The program, Exercise Enigma, was developed with the assistance of the New South Wales police. (4 refs.)
